Text Alert Consent

Last updated: October 21, 2026

Stepforth Wealth text alerts are optional. Signed-in users turn them on themselves in Settings → Text alerts. This page shows that sign-up step exactly as users see it, because the real form is only available inside the app.

How someone opts in

  1. In Settings, under Text alerts, the user chooses Set up.
  2. They enter their US mobile number and tick the consent box below. It starts unticked, and the button stays disabled until it's ticked.
  3. We text a one-time code to that number. Alerts start only after they enter the code, which proves the number is theirs.
  4. We send one confirmation text and record when and how they agreed.
